Ayoola White (she, her, hers) is a public librarian originally from the Midwest. She earned a dual library science and history degree from Simmons University. She entered the library field hoping to use librarianship as a means to mobilize social change and social justice. Ayoola has written for the Hack Library School blog, the Radcliffe Institute blog, and the journal /Dósis/. She enjoys reading (duh), cooking, exploring tarot, playing with her cat, and learning to rollerskate.
