Meghan McGowan (they/she) is a librarian in Detroit. Their work has primarily focused on adult services in public libraries and academic institutions. Meghan is looking forward to implementing skills developed through librarianship + LFI against the increasingly rampant surveillance in Detroit with Project Greenlight and the city’s use of facial recognition technology. She is most excited by work that inches us all toward freedom (and gardening).
