Megan Riley

Megan Riley (she/they) is a doctoral student in UCLA’s Department of Information Studies focusing on the political economy and history of US public libraries. They graduated UCLA’s MLIS program in 2020, focusing on labor issues in LIS, special collections, and community archives. Megan is committed to information access for incarcerated people and police- and policing-free libraries, and building non-carceral spaces and practices that support library workers and communities. She currently lives in Ukiah, CA and is enjoying getting to know the local county library system.
