Maria Rios earned her MLIS from the University of South Carolina in 2017 and is currently a Humanities Research Librarian at UMass Amherst. Eternally searching for sunbeams to soak in, this librarian is committed to centering and amplifying marginalized voices, anime + cartoons as bodies of research, restorative yoga, and dismantling all forms of oppression. She lives with her cat in the sleepy mountains of Western Massachusetts.
