Luz Badillo (she/her/ella) is an Instruction & Reference Librarian at Santa Monica College Library. She holds a B.A. in English Literature and Language and an MLIS. Luz works alongside community college students and is always looking for the best ways to center and meet their information needs. Her interests include critical pedagogy, first-year, first-gen, and transfer student experiences, student research behavior, and assessment.
