Katie Elson Anderson is a reference and instruction librarian at Paul Robeson Library, Rutgers University-Camden and serves as liaison to the Political Science, Social Work, and Anthropology, Sociology and Criminal Justice departments. Her research focuses on social media in libraries, internet culture and misinformation, disinformation and propaganda. Katie received her Master’s in Library and Information Science from Rutgers University and holds a degree in Anthropology and German from Washington University in St. Louis. She is a columnist for Library Hi Tech News providing introduction and insight to mobile and social networking apps for libraries and librarians.
