Ellie Avis is the Collection Manager at Multnomah County Library in Portland, Oregon. She works with a team of brilliant library people to provide access to a wide variety of physical and digital resources and improve the diversity and equity of library collections. She is a member of the Oregon Library Association Intellectual Freedom Committee and Tech Services Roundtable Steering Committee, is a current MLIS student at San Jose State University, and holds a Master’s Degree in City Planning from UC Berkeley. In her free time, Ellie enjoys making and breaking things, DIY music, and riding her bike.
