Callan Bignoli is the director of the library at Olin College of Engineering in Needham, Mass. Previously, she worked as the assistant director/CTO at the Public Library of Brookline in Brookline, Mass. and as online communications manager for the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners. She inhabits the middle grounds of librarianship, such as those between public and academic, digital and physical, and fear and optimism for the future.
