Kristy Cooper is an Information Services Librarian at the Canton Public Library and a trustee for the Ypsilanti District Library. She also founded The Library Defense Network, which is a library advocacy organization that specializes in helping library workers and communities respond to threats to libraries when their administrations either can’t or won’t fight for robust library services and funding.
